The Exploding Head Film Club presents the most visually breathtaking American film of the '70s. It's high summer, and there's no better time to lose yourself in the swooning romanticism of Terence Malick's magic hour masterpiece 'Days of Heaven'. The second film from 'Badlands' director Malick, and his last before retreating into self-imposed, motorised catflap based exile, 'Days of Heaven' traps Richard Gere, Brooke Adams and Sam Shepard in a doomed love triangle on the windswept, sun-kissed plains of turn-of-the-century Texas.
